Can Kings XI Punjab win its maiden IPL title or not in IPL 2019?

One of the most popular team is Kings XI Punjab which is co-owned by the popular Bollywood Actress Preity Zinta. Kings XI Punjab was Runner-up for one time in IPL 2014 but did not manage to win IPL title for a single time.

For the IPL 12, KXIP has made major changes to its squad. It has retained only 9 players from the IPL 2018 squad and bought 13 players in the IPL Auction. The team is focused to make its KXIP team strong enough to win the IPL title for the first time ever in 2019.

IPL KXIP Team 2019 includes KL Rahul, Ravichandran Ashwin, Mayank Agarwal, Ankit Rajpoot, Mujeeb Ur Rahman, Chris Gayle, Andrew Tye, Karun Nair, David Miller, Agnivesh Ayachi, Harpreet Brar, Murugan Ashwin, Arshdeep Singh, Sarfaraz Khan, Darshan Nalkande, Hardus Viljoen, Moises Henriques, Nicholas Pooran, Mohammad Shami, Prabhsimran Singh, Sam Curran, and Varun Chakaravarthy.

The strong players in KXIP team for IPL 2019 who performed well in the previous IPL season are Chris Gayle, KL Rahul, Ravichandran Ashwin, and Andrew Tye. Chris Gayle is the strongest player who performed well in IPL 2018.

In the previous IPL season, he made his sixth IPL century in a match against Sunrisers Hyderabad. Chris scored 104* off 63 balls for KXIP and the team won the match by 15 runs. Also, Andrew Tye is also a good player who can contribute to making KXIP clinch IPL title.

Andrew Tye earned a Purple Cap for the IPL season 2018. Purple Cap is awarded to the player to takes the highest wickets in an IPL season. He took the most wickets i.e. 24 during the previous IPL season.

It will be interesting to see if Kings XI Punjab with a strongly revised squad manages to win its maiden IPL title or not. The squad of KXIP 22 players includes some strong cricketers who can contribute to Kings XI Punjab maiden IPL win.
