Did Mumbai Indians ask BCCI to speed up the investigation for suspended player Hardik Pandya?

As of now every cricket lover is aware of the Koffee with Karan controversy involving two good cricketers Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul. Due to their sexist remarks on women in an episode of Koffee with Karan, they both have been criticized all over the world.

BCCI interrupted in the matter and suspended the two players from playing cricket. The duo was playing in the recently-concluded India’s Tour of Australia were called back to India for the inquiry into the matter.

They both were suspended from the leftover India-Australia series and the upcoming New Zealand series also. BCCI has set up an inquiry committee to decide the fate of the two players. The longevity of their bans is unknown to all.

As of now, India’s cash-rich league is going to start from March 23 and the participation of Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul in IPL 12 is a matter of concern to their respective IPL franchises. The delay in the judgment of both the players is a cause of worry to their IPL teams.

Hardik Pandya plays for IPL franchise and three times IPL winner Mumbai Indians. As per the reports, it is said that the franchise has requested BCCI to investigate Hardik Pandya’s case speedily. But the Mumbai Indians owner i.e. Reliance Industries has denied it.

Reliance Industries CEO Sundar Raman denied such action and said, "MI has nothing to do with this." BCCI secretary Amitabh Choudhary was not available to get his reactions on the case.

Also, a few days ago, COA asked The Supreme Court of India to appoint an ombudsman who would look into their matter but it was delayed and both the players were ruled out of upcoming India’s Tour of New Zealand.

When will the duo return is not known to their IPL franchises Mumbai Indians and Kings XI Punjab respectively. The time will only tell the fate of the two players and if they will return to IPL or not.
