Know about the Head Coach of the Most Successful Indian Premier League Franchises

The three-times IPL champions Chennai Super Kings which is led by the popular former Indian Captain MS Dhoni has Stephen Fleming as its head coach. He is a former New Zealand cricketer and captained New Zealand national cricket team in all the formats of the game.

Stephen Fleming retired from the international cricket in 2008. He played for CSK in IPL 2008. He was made the head coach of CSK in the year 2009. In 2015, he was the coach of the Big Bash League’s Melbourne Stars. But from 2018, he resumed as a coach of CSK.

The another three-times IPL champions Mumbai Indians which is owned by the Reliance Industries’s Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani has Mahela Jayawardene has its head coach. He is the former cricketer who played for Sri Lanka.

Mahela Jayawardene was appointed as the head coach of Mumbai Indians in the year 2017. He is considered as one of the modern greats of batsmanship. He also has the mastery of playing spin bowling.

The two-time IPL champions Kolkata Knight Riders which is owned by the famous Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan and the popular Bollywood actress Juhi Chawla and her spouse Jay Mehta has Jacques Kallis as its head coach.

Jacques Kallis is a former South African cricketer and the captain in Tests and ODIs. The all-rounder is regarded as one of the greatest cricketers and all-rounders of all time. From 2016, he is the head coach of KKR.

The other current IPL franchises who have won at least one IPL season is Rajasthan Royals and Sunrisers Hyderabad. Royal Challengers Bangalore, Kings XI Punjab and Delhi Daredevils which is now renamed as Delhi Capitals have not won any IPL title yet.
