MS Dhoni brings calmness to India’s ODI Team against Australia

Recently, Team India win the four-match test series against Australia by 2-1. Indian Skipper Virat Kohli and his men created an epic record. This is the first time ever in the history of cricket that Team India managed to win a test series against Australia in Australia.

Now the tour is all geared up for the three-match One Day International series, former captain MS Dhoni who has been dropped from the T20I squad earlier is now back to India’s squad. MS Dhoni along with Rohit Sharma and other ODI teammates reached Australia to play the ODIs which will begin from January 12.

Ahead of the ODI series, Rohit Sharma praised MS Dhoni. Rohit has an opinion that MS Dhoni has bought calmness to the group and his presence is a bit helpful to Captain Virat Kohli. Also, MS Dhoni is known as captain cool due to his calm and composed nature on and off the field.

Rohit Sharma said, “Over the years we have seen the kind of presence he has in dressing room and on field. With him being around, there's calmness around the group, it's also a bit of a help to the captain, also going down the batting order and that finishing touch is very important,”

Rohit also added, “He has finished so many games for us, that role he plays is very important in terms of his batting. His calmness, his advice is very important. So, things he does brings a lot on the table for us and his presence around the group is a massive factor for us.”
