Recently, the Indian Captain has revealed that he is suffering from back niggles since 2011. Virat Kohli who is currently playing in Australia has undergone treatment on day two of the third Test against Australia.

He on the third test was out for 82 in the first innings appeared in pain just before that. But for Virat, it was not a major concern. He feels that all players get niggles and they were nothing new.

Ahead of the fourth and final Test against Australia at Sydney, Virat Kohli said that he has back niggles since 2011 and it is nothing new for him. He told that he is able to manage it because of the physical effort he has put in over the past few years.

He said,” When you have a back that has these issues you can only maintain it that way.” He added, “If the workload gets high it can get into a spasm, I mean you don’t necessarily get serious issues, you get fine in two or three days,”.

Virat Kohli is a man whose only aim is to win a cricket match, said: “I’m not too concerned with it, you just have to manage it physically and stay ahead of the injury and I have been able to do it for now.” He is sure that he will find other ways and more options to keep countering his niggles.

He said, “I mean, it’s impossible to keep going without niggles and I think it’s fine to have a few niggles here and there. You just need to be able to manage it.”
