Hardik Pandya will join Team India in the next Test at Australian

India’s Tour of Australia began on November 21 with three-match T20I series ending in a draw.

From India’s T20I squad against Australia, former Indian Captain MS Dhoni was dropped while all-rounder Hardik Pandya was rested due to his lower back injury during a match against Pakistan in Asia Cup 2018 in September.

Hardik Pandya is currently playing in the ongoing Ranji Trophy for his team Baroda. He is playing his first match in three months after being recovered from the back injury. He performed well against Mumbai.

In the Mumbai match, Hardik scored 73 from 137 balls which included eight fours and a six. He also picked up an impressive five-wicket haul in the first innings and two more wickets in the second inning.

Ahead of the match, Hardik Pandya told that he is very excited and he has done resting being away from the game for so long. He wanted to come back smart and in the right way. He is quite happy that he is finally fit and ready to play cricket. He said, “I’m coming back after three months, I just want to express myself, play my best cricket and enjoy myself.”

As per the reports, Hardik Pandya is likely to make a comeback and regroup with his teammates ahead of the third Test match against Australia National Cricket Team in Melbourne that starts from December 26.

As per the source, Hardik Pandya has requested the selectors to observe his fitness in the Ranji Trophy. It is said that Hardik has been interacting with the national selector every day after play in Mumbai and giving updates of his fitness.

Also, the national selector Sarandeep Singh was present at the Wankhede stadium to witness Pandya's performance and later had a word with him after the day's play. The report reveals that the selection committee has left the decision on Hardik Pandya to take the call on when he would like to join the Indian team in Australia.
