West Indies Cricket Team in June 2017 was officially known as the Windies. It is a multi-national cricket team that represents the Anglophone Caribbean region. The team is administered by Cricket West Indies.

Windies Cricket Team players are selected from the 15 Caribbean territories. In June 2018, the West Indies cricket team is ranked ninth in the world in Tests and ODIs and ranked seventh in T20Is as per the official ICC rankings.

Once upon a time during the 1970s to early 1990s, the West Indies Cricket Team was the strongest in the world in Test and One Day International cricket. The first team who won back-to-back World Cups in 1975 and 1979 was West Indies Cricket Team. They have also appeared in the three consecutive World Cup finals in 1975, 1979 and 1983.

Windies Cricket Team has won the ICC Cricket World Cup twice, the ICC World Twenty20 twice, the ICC Champions Trophy once, the ICC Under 19 Cricket World Cup once, and were runners-up in the Cricket World Cup 1983 and Under 19 Cricket World Cup 2004.

They have hosted the Cricket World Cup 2007 and ICC World Twenty20 2010. In 2018, Windies toured India to play 5 ODIs, 2 Tests and 3 T20Is from September 29 to November 11 and they failed terribly to perform in India.

Indian players reached many landmarks during the match and finally clinched Test Series 2-0, ODI series 3-1 and T20I series 3-0.After failing to perform in India, Windies moved to Bangladesh to play 3 ODIs, 2 Tests, and 3 T20Is. The tour started on November 18 and it will continue till December 22.

Windies failed to perform in two-match test series but have won second ODI and equaled the ODI series 1-1. The cricket match prediction of the third ODI is already out by many websites.
