Top Players in the Sunrisers Hyderabad Squad for IPL 2019

Indian Premier League franchise representing the city of Hyderabad is Sunrisers Hyderabad. The franchise is owned by Kalanithi Maran of the Sun TV Network. The team is lead by Kane Williamson and is coached by Tom Moody.

The Hyderabad based franchise has won only one IPL title so far. SRH emerged as champions in the IPL 2016. The team was also a runner-up in IPL 2018 which they lost against the Chennai based franchise CSK.

Sunrisers Hyderabad’s leading run-scorer David Warner wasabsent in the previous IPL edition sue to his suspension from all forms of cricket because of the ball-tampering incident. Now its leading run-scorer David Warner is back in the IPL 2019 which will start from March 29.

SRH announced its Squad for IPL 2019 which lists 23 players among which nine are batsmen including three wicket-keeper batsmen. Five are the all-rounders. In the bowling department, SRH has two spinners and seven pacers. The list of players is as follows:

Ahead of the IPL Auction 2019, SRH has released many players. It has also traded Shikhar Dhawan to Delhi Daredevils for Abhishek Sharma, Vijay Shankar, Shahbaz Nadeem.

In IPL Auction 2019, SRH has bought only three players that are Martin Guptill, Wriddhiman Saha, and Jonny Bairstow. It will be interesting to watch SRH in the IPL 2019 with a new squad and to see whether SRH will clinch the IPL title this time or not.
