Lasith Malinga is the leading wicket-taker of the team but during IPL Auction 2018, he was not bought by Mumbai Indians due to his weak bowling in the past. But he was selected as the bowling mentor of Mumbai Indians in IPL 2018. But now the leading wicket-taker is back in the team to help MI clinch its IPL title for the fourth time.
