Reaction on Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul Koffee with Karan Controversy

Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul in a TV chat show Koffee with Karan have made the sexist, racist and misogynistic comments. They made controversial remarks about women and the situation turned worst for both the players when BBCI took the stand.

BCCI issued show cause notices to both players and then later suspended them from the currently ongoing Australia series and the upcoming New Zealand series too. BCCI has set up an inquiry committee to decide the future of the two players.

Not only from the series against Australian Cricket team and New Zealand National Cricket Team, but the participation of the two players in the Indian Premier League also remains doubtful.

In IPL, Hardik Pandya is a part of Mumbai Indians team and KL Rahul is a part of Kings XI Punjab. Also, former Indian off-spinner and Mumbai Indians player Harbhajan Singh has said that the team is not going to take the irresponsible comments of the two lightly.

Harbhajan Singh said that Hardik Pandya has put a big question mark on the Mumbai Indians image. He said, “That family (the Ambanis) values their goodwill and self-respect the most. Every Mumbai Indians team member is a member of their extended family. I have experienced that in my ten years with the team. You (Pandya) have put a blot on that family. I don’t think they will take it lightly. They put self-respect and self-esteem above anything else,”.

The comments also did not go well with the Indian National Cricket Team Captain Virat Kohli. He said that they as the Indian cricket team and responsible cricketers don't align with those views. He said those were individual opinions and they are still waiting for a decision to be made. Many other cricketers reacted to the comments made by Hardik and Rahul.
